The great freedom of movement is made possible by the integrated motion plates, which allow you to move forwards and backwards, and the lateral mobility of the newly developed frame. You can benefit from the NEO 3M's high level of mobility, especially when pedaling in the saddle.
The innovative NEO technology ensures a realistic simulation of virtual worlds. In contrast to conventional direct drive trainers, the NEO has a virtual flywheel with a magnetic motor brake. The absence of a drive belt makes it one of the quietest roller trainers on the market. Because the motor brake works like a dynamo, the NEO 3M can also be operated without an external power source. In mains operation, the motor brake can also be used to drive the trainer to simulate downhill runs. In addition, the road feel function allows you to simulate different surfaces such as cobblestones or gravel by individually controlling the neodymium magnets. Thanks to Bluetooth and ANT+ transmission, the Tacx NEO 3M is compatible with all common indoor training apps. With the 11-speed cassette for SHIMANO and SRAM gear groups included in the scope of delivery, you can start training straight away. After the training session, the NEO 3M can be folded up to save space and is easy to transport thanks to the integrated carrying handle.

Multidirectional movement
The new frame design contributes significantly to improving the lateral mobility of the NEO 3M. In addition, the integrated motion plates, which can be deactivated, allow longitudinal movement forwards and backwards. The movement options in all directions relevant for cycling give you an unprecedented, realistic riding experience.

Revised design
The NEO 3M offers you a secure stand even during intensive training sessions. The integrated carrying handle makes it easy to stow the trainer away quickly after riding. Revised stop sockets allow easier mounting of all bike frames with quick release or thru axle.

The NEO 3M works perfectly with the most popular training apps and software programs to give you the ultimate indoor training experience. It can be connected to your smartphone, tablet or PC via Bluetooth Smart or ANT+. Of course, the training data can also be displayed and saved on ANT+ or Bluetooth-enabled bike computers. With an optional network adapter, you can also connect the trainer to your laptop or PC via a LAN cable.

Road Feel
To make training even more entertaining and interesting, the NEO 3M can simulate different road surfaces such as cobblestones or gravel through vibrations.

Dynamic inertia
In contrast to conventional trainers, the NEO 3M uses the principle of dynamic inertia to simulate your actual body weight. Depending on the simulated incline or your speed, your pedaling sensation changes, just like on the road.

Virtual flywheel
The realistic riding experience is made possible by the NEO 3M's virtual flywheel. Unlike a conventional flywheel, the resistance and inertia when pedaling is controlled by a motor brake with 32 neodymium magnets that rotate around 30 coils. Depending on the rider's weight, incline and speed, the resistance is adjusted 1000 times per second via the current to create a realistic riding experience.

Downhill simulation
The integrated motor brake can also be used to drive the trainer in virtual worlds on descents, so you don't have to pedal downhill and the software still receives movement information.

Accurate and powerful
The NEO 3M measures your performance with a maximum deviation of 1% so that you can precisely adhere to your training zones. Due to its design, the NEO 3M is the only roller trainer that does not need to be calibrated. Thanks to its powerful motor brake, the NEO 3M can brake up to 2200 watts of power and simulate an incline of up to 25%. This makes it ideal for even the most intensive forms of training, with only the rider as the limiting element.

Pedal stroke analysis
The NEO 3M uses a capacitive sensor on the left and right side to detect the exact position of the legs while pedaling. In combination with the power meter, a precise analysis of the power distribution can be carried out. With this data, you can use the TACX Training App for Windows to optimize your pedalling and compensate for any imbalances.

The integrated LED provides you with visual information about your pedaling performance.
